Topsil's “Seizing the Opportunity” strategy covers the period from 2010 through 2012. The goal of the strategy is to turn market growth and a favourable market position into further business growth by:
- expanding the production through the construction of a new plant, comprising a number of productitity improvements, including flow optimisation
- developing new products corresponding to customer demands of tomorrow, especially in the form of large diameter silicon wafers (8 inch) and an improved product within the current product range
- increasing competitive power through focused enhancement of efficiency.
Strategy implementation will focus on four core areas:
- Achieving customer satisfaction at the highest possible level
- Continuously improve the cost position, related to the streamlining of production and higher silicon yield
- Continuously generate synergies from the Cemat S.A. acquisition
- Strengthening the group’s financial position
