Topsil is working systematically with corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly in the areas of environment and safety.
The statutory report on corporate social responsibility and the company's CSR efforts are specified in a separate report "Topsil CSR 2010" which can be found on www.topsil.com/files/pdf/csr2010.pdf.
On 8th March 2011, Topsil joined the UN Global Compact comprising a number of internationally recognised principles within the fields of human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption. Hence, Topsil has committed to promoting the principles and to report ongoing progress on a yearly basis to the UN.
At the same time, Topsil has required to issue the progress of Global Compact’s ten principles and report the progress to UN in future. The first Communication on Progress report can be found here.
