
Topsil high purity monocrystalline silicon (HPS) is based
on float zone growth technology and is primarily used for
demanding optoelectronic devices. It is the preferred choice
for applications such as infrared detectors, terahertz systems,
x-ray mirrors, and silicon lenses, as well as power
semiconductors.
Topsil HPS material is characterised by excellent resistivity
control and ultra high purity. The products have the
following unique material properties:
- Highest resistivity range in the market
- High minority carrier lifetime
- Low levels of performance degrading impurities
The HPS silicon wafers are available as p- and n-type silicon and in diameters up to 200mm.
