For King and Country! …and also the EU!
EQTC 2025 is in full swing. It is a magnificent event attended by many magnificent people and no less of a person than our own King of Denmark, His Royal Majesty King Frederik 10., has taken a personal interest in the development of Quantum technology.
On Monday morning H.M. the King paid a visit to the Danish pavillion accompanied by Executive Vice President of the European Commission for Technological Sovereignty, Security, and Democracy, Henna Virkkunen, Minister of European Affairs, Marie Bjerre, and Minister of Higher Education and Science Christina Egelund. H.M. the King took the time to speak with our CTO and boardmember of DQC, Sune Bro Duun, about the nature of ultrapure Silicon and Topsil’s official status as part of the critical infrastructure of the EU.
There is that, and many other good reasons to give big thanks to Danish Quantum Community with Managing Director, Kristine Helen Falgren and Chairman of the Board, prof. Nikolaj Thomas Zinner for the excellent DQC setup.
