Thanks for three inspiring quantum days in Stuttgart!

Everyone says the future is quantum technologies, but it is easy to forget that the past and present has been quantum too! But some of the challenges we face now are at a scale where classical computation won’t be enough to tackle, so we need quantum computation to deliver.

Two days at Quantum Effects in Stuttgart showed us how research institutions and industry are rapidly approaching this ambition in a multi-faceted way. The breadth is invaluable. Alongside advances in quantum computing, the growing momentum in quantum sensing was impossible to miss, showing that the quantum ecosystem is advancing on multiple fronts. It also highlighted the importance of strengthening the collaborative efforts between Germany, Denmark and the wider European community.

At Topsil, we are doing our part by providing an ultra-pure float zone silicon platform. We were pleased to contribute with two talks highlighting our trademarked IntrinsicTM Silicon, developed specifically to meet the strict material requirements of Si-based quantum devices.

We are excited to build on the new connections made in Stuttgart. A special thank you to Gregor Locher, Innovation Center Denmark – Munich, and the entire Danish delegation for the engaging conversations and excellent company throughout the event.
We would also like to thank QuantumBW for a well-organized ecosystem tour and the opportunity to visit and exchange perspectives with IBM Quantum Ehningen, Arda Atomics, and ZAQuant.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us. We look forward to continuing the conversations and supporting the exciting progress happening across the quantum landscape.
