On the 17th of December, EUDP – Det Energiteknologiske Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram (translates from Danish to: Energy technology Development and Demonstration Programme) published the list of companies to receive grants for the second half of 2024 – and Topsil’s ‘FZ300’ R&D project is on the list.
That means we are now ready to embark on the journey towards the development of the world’s first 300 mm Float Zone silicon wafers.
This new technology platform will lower the emissions as well as the production cost of power semiconductors, one of the crucial enabling technologies for a successful green transition.
This is a good day for Topsil GlobalWafers A/S and for Danish green technology – we cannot wait to get this project going.
