In connection with government level talks between Denmark and the U.S. about exchange of environmental protection technology and knowhow, head of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Lee Zeldin and several officials, including ambassador Ken Howery, Assistant Administrator Usha-Maria Turner and CIO Carter Farmer visited the Topsil site.
As Topsil is significantly advanced when it comes to water reuse and energy self-sufficiency, our company has attracted the attention of the American agency, who expressed an interest in getting to know more about these competencies. Our message – as always – is that environmentally conscientious practices on energy and water is also good business in economic terms. It makes sense on every level.
Security of supply was equally a large topic. Topsil has a long history of sourcing the highest quality input materials from the U.S. and hopes to continue this valuable relationship.
Questions about markets and suppliers for Topsil are not insignificant to the U.S. Our product, FZ silicon of the most extreme purity possible, goes into much critical infrastructure and important technologies, such as power semiconductors, sensors and quantum technology.
It is our hope that a constructive dialogue can continue going forward
Thank you to our guests and all the people involved in the visit, not least of which were the Danish Missions in the U.S Jesper Køks Andersen and Rasmus Hammer-Jakobsen.
